- Information you gave us or your agent when submitting an application for one or more policies of insurance, such as names, addresses, unlisted telephone numbers, contact information, birthdates, social security numbers, driver’s license numbers, and/or other information related to insurability and/or financial stability;
- In order to verify your information and properly underwrite your request with some of our products, we may obtain information from consumer reporting agencies (including credit information), medical providers, and/or others, some of which may be related to the type of information described above.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information within our Company to:
- protect you. Because we maintain the information you provide, it helps us identify you and help protect against unauthorized access to your information.
- provide service. Because we maintain your information, we can provide better, more efficient service to you.
- improve and develop our products and services. The information we gather is analyzed and processed in order to provide you with a superior product at a reasonable price.
How We Protect It
Privacy is very important to all of us. We have established protections to ensure that your personal information is kept confidential. We want to assure you that any information that we gather is used strictly for your needs. For instance, we may provide a body shop or contractor your name, address, phone number or other contact information including insurance policy information to hasten the repair process.
- Independent contractors, such as technical system consultants, who program our software or maintain our systems to help us administer our products for you.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
On occasion, we may modify our privacy policy. The most recent version is posted on our website, www.patriotmga.com. This Privacy Statement describes our privacy practices for both current and former policyholders. We will provide one copy of this notice to our policyholders each year; please share this information with everyone covered by your policy. In addition, in the event that we make a significant change to our privacy practices, we will send a revised copy to each of our current policyholders.
